About HEDG

HEDG formed in 2008 with the aim to increase the interaction
between geoscientists in the Lower Hunter, promote geoscience,
provide a platform to learn about current research and provide
an opportunity for students look at career options.

The next Hunter Earth Sciences Discussion Group (HEDG) presentation is on Tuesday 11 October at Newcastle Museum.
To celebrate the 2016 Earth Science Week theme of 'Our Shared Geoheritage', Dr Ian Percival and Trudi Semeniuk will present
“Geological Heritage in NSW 1979-2016: what was there, what is still there, why it matters, and how we promote it”.
Drinks and nibbles from 6pm, with the presentation to start at 6.30pm.
